The online retailer Amazon was selling doormats featuring the Indian Flag. It was sold on Amazon Canada website.
Though Amazon have removed the product from their website after it was strongly criticised by the Foreign Misnister Sushma Swaraj.
The Foreign Minister had warned the on wednesday that India will stop issuing visas to the firm's employees and rescind those already granted if the firm didn't withdraw all their products which are insulting the National Flag immediately.
Disrespecting the national flag in India is a punishable offence and can three year of jail term and a fine or both, according to the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971.
Amazon have removed those offensive doormats from their website and apologised.
